David Henry HoskingPERCYPassed peacefully on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at Derriford Hospital aged 92 years. Of West Hoe, Formerly of Roborough.

Beloved Husband of Julie. Cherished Dad of Kevin and Nicola. Loving father-in-law of Rajesh and Triona. Inspiring and treasured Grandad to Ari, Daniel, Jackson, Kitty and Pearl.

Dave lived a full and happy life, devoted to his beloved wife Julie and his family. He was a great adventurer and loved his work at sea as tug captain with RMAS.

The Funeral service will be held at The Park Crematorium, Ceremony Room Two, 207 Merafield Road, Plympton, PL7 1UQ, on Friday 21st February 2025 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please. We welcome donations to R.N.L.I or Parkinsons UK Donations may be left online at wcpltd.com/donate

We have very fond memories of spending time with Dave and Julie when we visited Plymouth in 2003.

I have very fond memories of Dave and Julie at Triona and Kev’s wedding. He was warm and welcoming and full of stories. He embraced the connection between our families. It was a pleasure to know him and I know he will be much missed, Irene (Triona’s sister)

Dave was absolutely devoted to his wife Julie, his much loved children Kevin and Nicola and his adored grandchildren Murray (Jack), Daniel, Kitty, Pearl and Ari. He showed me great kindness and true commitment as a father in law. I wish I could be there with you to say goodbye to him. Much love, Triona.
