Arranging a funeral can be a daunting prospect, especially considering that its at a time when you are experiencing the emotional turmoil of losing a loved one. We are here to make this task a little easier for you.
Aston Walker was established in 2005 by Neil Walker. He set up a small funeral home in Garlinge, Margate and a year later opened an office in Cliftonville.
Previously, Neil had worked for two local funeral directors and quickly realised that this sensitive and respectful profession suited his compassionate nature. “I started the firm to give people the respectful and dignified service that suits their needs and because we are only a small family firm, we can give people the time they require and deserve.”
Keith joined the firm in 2006 and was a great asset to our team until his sad passing in July 2016 after a short illness.
Paula joined us shortly after in August 2016 having had a varied career beginning with the military, the police and latterly in the care profession. Paula says “To be able to listen and talk with families on such a sensitive matter is an honour and after the funeral has taken place I feel like I have made new friends.”
Neil said “Having served families from all over the country and indeed abroad, it is still humbling and a privilege to continue to support them at such a difficult time.”
