From the moment our services are requested, the personnel at Hubert Swainson are completely available to you for funeral arrangement.
We respond to calls 24 hours a day and will attend the place of death, immediately if requested, to remove the deceased to our Chapel of Rest or to hospital if required. Funeral arrangement can be a distressing time but be assured that we are well established in Harrogate and the surrounding areas and most care environments will have had previous contact with us and be able to call us on your behalf. We attend to all the documents required by law; strong partnerships with local doctors, hospitals and the coroner’s office enable us to complete the necessary paperwork swiftly for all funeral arrangements.
We are able to assist in the repatriation of those who have died overseas or the return of those who have died while away from home within the UK. Our expert repatriation service will visit any hospital, funeral service or airport throughout the UK and deal with the necessary paperwork to enable the deceased safe return to our Chapel of Rest.
Should you wish to visit your loved one in our Chapel of Rest, at any time prior to the funeral, please just ask. An appointment can easily be made for you and there is no limit to the number of visits you may make. We do not make any charge for visits to the Chapel.
