We are an independent, family-run funeral directing company based in Over Norton, Oxfordshire. The Sole family have been supporting local families in this way since 1948. Today A.L. Sole & Son is run by Chris Sole, a fully qualified funeral director and embalmer with over 35 years of experience in the funeral profession. Chris has studied extensively both here in the UK and in the USA. Our key team of Jason Shailer, Jeremy Heath and Jackie Watts all assist in arranging and conducting funerals.
It is our aim to provide the very highest standard of service and quality to the families we care for, 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year. We are available at any hour, to provide assistance, advice or removals to our Chapel of Rest. We are able to arrange funerals for all religions or religious denominations and non-religious ceremonies through Humanists UK or Civil Ceremonies.
