Lytham Funeral Service has been founded by David & Gill Pope, both well known Lytham residents who live in the town with their five daughters. They believe that after decades of only having one funeral provider in the town, the local community deserve a new fresh modern approach to arranging funerals whilst maintaining the local traditional values the people of Lytham expect.
David Pope well known and respected in Lytham for his care and sensitivity has been a funeral director since 1987 and holds the National Association of Funerals Director’s Diploma in Funeral Directing and is also a Licensed Member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors. For the last 17 years he has worked for M. Rawcliffe Funeral Director of Lytham and served hundreds of families.
Gillian Pope first entered the funeral profession in 1987 and is highly qualified being a member of the British Institute of Embalmers and a holder of the Diploma in Funeral Directing. Gillian is also a fully qualified mental health nurse with a Masters Degree in Behavioural Science. In recent years she has worked in the NHS as a manager and in research and development.
