W. Lauderdale & Son Funeral Services is a third-generation, fully independent family-run business that has supported the Gateshead community with care, compassion and respect for 80 years now.
Founded by Billy Lauderdale in the Teams on Askew Road West, Gateshead in 1946 we’ve built a legacy rooted in trust, dignity and personal service.
Today, we remain proudly fully independent and the business is owned by Mrs Doris Lauderdale and her son, William Lauderdale.
William and his wife Shauna look after the day-to-day running of the Funeral Home, they also run their own flower business which works perfect having every detail looked after together in house.
They are supported with a experienced team of funeral operatives which perfectly rounds out our team of funeral directors in Gateshead.
