Established in 1923 by Robert Hastie Bennie, Robert Bennie & Sons has been a family business for four generations and we are very proud that it is still independently owned and run. Originally we began the business as a joiners and undertakers, but in 1950 James and William were brought into the business as partners and Robert Bennie & Sons became involved in many prestigious building contracts in and around Linlithgow.
Today the firm is run by James's son Bobby, his wife Val and their son Douglas, and is now purely a funeral directors business. We hope to continue providing the same individual family service in Kirkliston, Queensferry and the surrounding areas that we have been providing in Linlithgow for the past 95 years.
