W J O’Brien & Son Ltd are an independent family-run company based in Eglinton, owned by Willie O’Brien and his son Kieran.
The current business originates as far back as 1935 when Willie’s father Jim O’Brien ran the business in Limavady. The family business has steadily expanded over the years and now covers a large area of the North West.
W J O'Brien & Son Ltd's funeral home can be found at 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton. The funeral home was formerly the old Drumaneeney School and many of the old features of the school have been preserved during the extensive refurbishment which now provides one of the best-equipped funeral homes in the entire area. The premises contains a chapel of rest and private viewing rooms in addition to modern mortuary facilities, offices and ample on-site car parking.
