Mary ElizabethHAWKESOf Westbury sub Mendip, died on Monday 31st August 2026 aged 95 years. She was a historian of Westbury sub Mendip and known to us all as a lover of chocolate, after her father who worked at Rowntrees in York. We hope you will think of her next time you eat some! She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Quaker Meeting House, Street on Wednesday 23rd September at 3.00pm to be followed by internment.
