I was a carer for Janet during covid. I think about her often as I loved spending time with her. Really sad to see this when I looked her up.

I'm so sorry to read this- Ms MatthewsHall was our teacher when we started at Lincoln Cathedral School and she used to laugh that I was taller than her at about 11 years old! I then found out my uni flatmate knew her and we crossed paths at her 21st birthday party and caught up! Thinking of you all as you mourn the loss of a truly lovely lady. Hannah Rogers x

I've got so many lovely memories of Janet I can't begin to share them all. Just suffice to say, we laughed a lot, shared silly jokes, went on cinema trips, talked loads, team teaching in The Priory, oh, so many... we also shared weekly afternoon tea outside at 'Coffee by the Arch' during Lock Down thus sharing even more memories of friends, colleagues, pupils, holidays we spent together and not forgetting our own 'Mummies' . I'm so going to miss her, R.I.P. my dear friend x

Janet was such an inspiring person and a real friend. I loved her dearly and was saddened when we could not get together over the past years. She has a faith in Christ so I believe we shall meet again in His Kingdom. Connie Hurd
