RitaHALE(Bedlington) Passed away peacefully on 18th December 2019, aged 78 years. Much loved mam of Gary and Diane, devoted nana of Cara as well as great-nana of Layla and Lucy. Would family and friends please meet for service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium on Wednesday 8th January, 12.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter for which a box will be provided c/o John Grenfell & Son, 3 Front Street West, Bedlington, Tel 01670 823204

Rita, I couldn’t make it to your funeral because of an unexpected hospital admission. I often think of you and remember your lovely voice calling the cats in next door to my Nana; Mamies house.
You played a huge part in my childhood and I will never forget you.
