IreneDEMPSEYnée Bishop, of Abbeycroft Nursing Home, passed away on Friday, September 6, aged 82. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Irene's family would like to thank all the carers that helped to make Irene's life easier. She sadly leaves husband Peter, children Shaun, Lynne, Kevin and Roy, grandchildren Sally, Matt, Cathy, Hannah, Luke, Hollie and Lee and many close family and friends. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18, at St James the Less, led by Canon Anthony McBride, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
