David passed away peacefully on April 30th, at home, as he wished, with his family around him.

Adored by his wife, three fantastic daughters and eight grandchildren plus the many patients he had cared for over the years. He will be sorely missed. He wanted 'NO FUSS'.

A celebration of his life has already taken place.

Donations in his memory may be made to 'Medecins Sans Frontieres'

We're very sad to read about Dr. Gibbons death. He was a very kind considerate and clever man. I learned a great deal from him whilst working at West Cornwall Hospital and very much appreciated his support.

So sorry to hear this. Dr, Gibbons was very good to my mother over many years, helping her to navigate her journey with diabetes with such understanding and kindness. Of all the medical experts she encountered over the years Dr. Gibbons humanity shone out above all others.

My condolences go to Dr Gibbons'family. I had the pleasure of working with Dr Gibbons on a number of occasions and he was a darling to work with. I shall always remember his calm and quiet ways and his immense caring attitude to patients and colleagues alike.
