WILKINSONRobert Charles It is with great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Robert Charles Wilkinson on 14th August 2015 in Kuching East Malaysia, husband to Lily. Originally from Wolverhampton born 26th April 1934, he was a Father to Philip, Julien, Simon, Mark, Matthew, Daniel, Ben, Luke and adopted children Angelina, Joshua and Johnathan. He also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He lived and worked in Gloucester from 1976-1979 and then moved to Jeddah Saudi Arabia until 1990. Following the start of the Gulf War, he moved to Malaysia and remained there until his passing. He was the original Arthur Daley, buying and selling used cars until he became an Engineer and living life as an Ex-pat! May he forever rest in peace.

Dad,

I'm not sure why it was me but I was fascinated by what you did for a profession that I too became a Motor Engineer and are truly proud of what I do.
I'm thankful that you encouraged me and taught me well on many interesting and special vehicles passing your knowledge on to me and it has kept me out of trouble all my life.
From childhood and spending lots of time around Motorsport that led me into my own Motorsports career which I did for many years with my own son becoming my co driver.
Your love of nice cars meant I too would have many of my own that I have treasured and taken me on many adventures I thank you for that as well.
You also gave me and my brothers many good times with boats that I also was able to enjoy with my own family for many years.
Take it easy for now Dad and keep an eye on what we get up to and we will all meet again.
