Rodney CampbellBARRDied peacefully at home on 11th November 2020, aged 79 years, after a very short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and childhood sweetheart of Maureen, much loved dad of Susan, Hazel and Allison, a dear father in law of Nigel, Andy and Keith, adored grandpa to Victoria, Matthew, Samuel, Calum, Declan and Phoebe and great grandpa to Charlie and Alfie. A wonderful, caring and loving gent who was a friend to so many. Rod's funeral will take place on Thursday 26th November 2020. If you would like to pay your respects to Rodney, the funeral cortege will be leaving the family home at 1pm passing Alkrington Community Centre, St Michael's Church, and pausing at Middleton Arena, where he was an active member of Middleton Heartline, before continuing to St Luke's Church, Heywood for a private family service at 1.30pm. The committal will follow at Middleton Crematorium at 2.20pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in Rodney's memory can be made to Middleton Heartline care of the Funeral Director.
