Alan, my friend, I never thought you would leave this world so soon, you were the sweetest guy I've ever known. I remember the first time I met Irene, late 60s you both came to my Mother's house to collect a record, that I had borrowed from you, some two years before. Such patience you'd shown with a giggle for the long return of your record,
