Rest in peace Mo, thank you for welcoming me into the Birch family. Every time we’ve met, you’ve always had a smile on your face, particularly when you had a red wine in hand!
Mime and the boys loved you, and you gave them a second home with their dad full of wonderful memories, which I love hearing about.
You will always have a place in our hearts & we will remember you.
Love Charlie xxx

RIP Margaret. Much loved Sunday school teacher and friend to my parents Phyllis and Ivan Heywood. Fellow allotment owners.
Very happy memories of my early years at St George's Church Sunday school, her husband John and children Patrick and Rachel.
Thank you for helping me in my formative years.

Mrs Birch was my Sunday school teacher in the 1970's. Great friends with my parents Phyllis and Ivan Heywood. My sister Linda and I grew up in safety, kindness and learnt about Jesus from Margaret. Fabulous role model ,mother , wife and grandmother. May she rest in peace , reunited with her lovely husband John ,after a life well lived x

I will forever treasure the memories made with my Auntie Margaret.

From the cold crispy winters day when we walked into Leek town centre and as a young boy I ran and slid along the pavement only to be mildly rebuked that someone could slip and hurt themselves - a life lesson on caring and thinking about others which made me pause for thought then and carry with me for many occasions.

The Christmas Boxing Day events in Macclesfield were wonderful family days that spanned decades with Auntie Margaret the perfect host with lovely festive food (marked out of 10 in the early days by Uncle John) followed by highly competitive board games and frivolity running late into the night. As our families grew so did the numbers but the essence of the days remained the same based around families, a shared common bond and love for each other.

Rest In Peace Auntie Margaret, forever remembered with a smile x x
