JamesDR BEATSONIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James McDonald Beatson of Troon, who died peacefully at the age of 79 years on 7th July at Atlantic View Care Home. Jim was a loving and devoted husband to Nancy and a wonderful father to Stuart and Ros as well as to his wee Sheltie, Isla. He was a well loved GP at Templehill Surgery in Troon for 40 years. He was greatly committed to his work and always felt it a huge privilege to serve his community. As per Jim's wishes, his funeral will be a private ceremony to remember and celebrate his strong and kind character and his life achievements in the presence of close family.
