Carol AnneLONGTHORNIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Longthorn, aged 63, beloved wife of Kenny Longthorn, and devoted mother to Dale and Jordan. Cherished grandmother of 7, whose love for her family knew no bounds. She was a woman of great warmth and humour, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had to privilege of knowing her.

She passed away peacefully on Friday 7th February 2025. Throughout her life, she touched the lives of many with her generous spirit, loving nature, and unwavering dedication to her family. She will be profoundly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Chanterlands Crematorium (Large Chapel) on Monday 3rd March at 12.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Research UK in her memory.

We were so lucky to have Carol as our neighbour for 24 years. We really miss her kindness, humour and love.
She was a beautiful lady.
