Elizabeth McDonaldHUTTOn the 17th August 2026, peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, Elizabeth (Betty) McDonald Hutt of Lochmaben.

A much-loved wife of the late Tom, loving mother to Tom and Alyson and a dear granny.

Service to be held in Lochmaben Parish Church on Friday 4th September at 11.00 am, thereafter to Lochmaben Cemetery to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend. Formal attire not essential with attendees invited to wear something colourful should they wish.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Macular Society.

There's not many folk that could lace yer boots Betty. Your lust for life was infectious and the Gala parade just won't be the same without you and Alyson's fab costumes. I needn't say rest in peace, as you're likely away causing mischief already 😉 i hope you are.

Acht Betty. I am so sorry that you won't be there any more to gloat when I knock at your door because Tom didn't hear me knock at his door. I always loved your company... sending love to Tom and Alyson and the rest of the clan. Many fond memories of times spent together
