In hospital on 3rd January 2025, aged 88 years, peacefully with her children by her side.

Phyllis, a loving wife of the late William. A much loved mam of John, Margie, Sylvia, Teed, Lynn, Carol, Kim and the late Barry, and a dearly loved mother-in-law of Lesley, Arty, Joanne, Tich, Johnna and Paul. A treasured and loving nana, great-nana and great-great-nana to all her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also a loving sister of the late Mina, Bet, Peggy, Billy and George and sister-in-law of the late Victor, Gordon, Polly and Mary. Additionally, a respected auntie of Heather, only daughter of sister Bet.

Friends please meet for service at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel on Friday 24th January 2025 at 10:15am, followed by a celebration of Phyllis' life at High Howdon Social Club (The Legion), Tynemouth Road.

Please dress informally. Family flowers only by request.

Phylis, you were an absolute pleasure to meet and come across. Always had the crisps ready for people at the bingo. Don't worry darling I'll keep providing the crisps for the family and friends at the bingo. Thinking of all your family at this sad time. My Mother and Dianne send their love to you all.

What a privilege to be your oldest Great-Grandchild and for you to witness 5 generations of your family in one lifetime. You always had a smile and a little bag of treats to give away. Thank you for the crisps, the chocolate, the sweets, the ice creams and the love. You always said "I'll dance at your wedding" and at everyone's future weddings to come, I'm sure you will be ❤️
