OliverROWLEYof Mapleford Care Home, Accrington, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, in the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 76. Oliver was the son of the late John and Bridget Rowley, formerly of Craven Street. He was the brother to the late Margaret, Sarah, Angela and John. Oliver spent his school years as a pupil at St Mary's School on Moscow Mill Street, Oswaldtwistle. In his early years, Oliver enjoyed cycling and would often travel to the seaside or countryside in the company of friends, and also travelled to Ireland with his mother to visit relatives there. When he was younger he worked for the Gas Board. He enjoyed horse and greyhound racing. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 27 at 9.40am, at Accrington Crematorium.
