Merriel Towers-SmithSPENCEROn Wednesday, May 20th 2026, formerly of West Pitt Farm, Exeter Hill, Tiverton, passed away peacefully at Castle Grove Nursing Home, Bampton, aged 89 years.
Beloved wife of Peter Spencer (1930-2014), loved mother of Tim, Nikki, Chris and Phil, adored grandmother of Ella, Flora, George, William, Rhianna and Lucie.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends and local community.
Following a private cremation, a Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St. Matthew's Church, Butterleigh, on Tuesday, June 16th 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
The family invites attendees to wear flowers in their buttonholes, if they so wish.
