AlanBARKESS("Butcher") (East Stanley, Co Durham) Alan peacefully passed away after a long fight with Dementia surrounded, supported and cherished by his family on the 22nd April 2025 aged 82 years young. Loving partner of Lola, devoted father to John, Barry and Vicky. Big brother to Joan, Anne, Maxi and Chippy. Gentle giant grandfather to John, Alan, Andrew, Mark, Hollie, Oliver, Isabelle, Evelyn. Great grandfather to Jack, Kye, Mia and McCauley. Loved by Nieces, Nephews, friends and all acquaintances old and new.
Funeral to be held on 14th May, friends and neighbours to meet at St Andrew's Church, Stanley at 1pm then onto Mountsett Crematorium at 2pm.
