First met Arthur when he taught me at Rhydywaun Comprehensive school in the 1970s. Arthur loved his Rugby and spent time coaching and assisting the school rugby teams. We ended up playing against one another years later when Arthur represented Penarth RFC. He has been a teacher & friend for 50 yrs and it was always a warm welcome from him when our paths crossed. Rest in Peace Arthur.
