Mitch was a Godly man who will be sadly missed. We will always remember his tender love and kindness and remain grateful that he touched our lives. We are grateful to the all the NHS staff who cared for him during ill health and especially the Douglas MacMillan hospice nursing team who provided compassionate care during his journey to rest. We look forward to seeing Mitch again when all tears are wiped away through Gods eternal presence.

I am honoured to be able to leave a message about Mitch
Mitch ( also known as Edgar by some ) became part of the family when I was 14 years old.
Mitch was always very kind, caring and gentle and welcoming.
Mum and Mitch got married in 19.. , which I was very happy about, this also meant I had an instant new family, which was a bonus.
It is hard to believe now but I was a slightly naughty teenager. Mitch bought peace and strength into my Mums life. It was a good thing Mum had met someone resilient enough to support her through these testing times.
Later in life I had my son Daniel. Mitch was nothing but a positive role model for Dan, demonstrating how to be a good person, hardworking, generous with his time, money, nothing was too much for him. Always showing gratitude for everything. Mitch has played a fundamental part in the good man my son is today. I shall always be thankful for that.
In recent years Mitch appreciated having the occasional manicure and pedicure for his hard-working hands and feet as he liked them in good condition. A very well deserved pamper.
Mitch was one of the strongest people I have known managing whatever life threw at him.
I have a lot to thank Mitch for.

My family and I send you our prayers and sympathy at the sad loss of your dear husband and father. We have fond memories of Mitch over many years and remember his constant cheerful attitude and his own special laugh. He was a faithful servant of the Lord he loved, being a most dedicated deacon of his church. He was always willing to help someone along life’s pathway being a blessing to many. He is waiting for Jesus to waken him. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
With our love, Jean, Wayne and Garth. USA.
