ArnoldACTONPassed away suddenly on July 17th 2024 at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor aged 71 years of 44 Bro Llewelyn, Llandegfan.

Cherished son of Mair and the late Harold. He will be sadly missed by his family and wide circle of friends in the community.

Funeral of Monday August 12th, public service at St. Tegfan's Church, Llandegfan at 1.00pm. Followed by interment at the Church Cemetery.

My first reaction when I heard about Arnie was shock, which soon gave way to a deep sadness.
Arnie & I had known each other for close on 50 years and worked together for over 40 at Bangor Cash Registers. In the beginning there was just the two of us, then we were joined by Peter, Dave & Mark – all gone now as well.
Since his retirement (and later mine) we enjoyed a pint and a chat, often at The Vic, where he would accompany his stories with that laugh that only Arnie could do.
I'll miss Arnie, and his soft singing with his guitar, but I won't forget him.
