Ian EdwardHUMPHRIESThe son of the late Albert and Kathleen was reunited with his beloved parents on 20th June 2024, aged 76 years. He will be sadly missed by friends and family.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 12th July at 10:00am in Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, but donations if desired for Dementia UK may be placed in the collection box at the service or made online via www.ajlloyd.co.uk

Ian and many like him gave most of their free time acting as unpaid instructors for the D of E Award scheme. They taught teenagers life skills that made them more able to manage the challenges of adulthood and become better citizens. We cannot overstate the gratitude and thanks these youngsters and their parents owe to Ian and others like him. Bryan Fountaine Chairman 84 Sqdn Air Cadets (R'td) and President 8F Sqdn Air Cadets.

Before Ian retired he was a very active member of staff on 84 Squadron Air Cadets. As a Warrant Officer, he was involved in leading parties of cadets on their D of E Award expeditions. He did this for many years and many of the ex cadets have left tributes on the 84 Squadron old boys Facebook Page. Thanks for your loyal service . RIP mate! Cheers From your old colleague and friend.
