David JohnNETHERCLIFTPassed away peacefully on the 14th November, aged 86. Much loved, he will be missed by all family and friends. His funeral will be held at midday on Friday 14th December at St Peter and St Paul Church, Lingfield. All are welcome. Family flowers only, donations can be made via cheque, payable to "Dementia UK" c/o Alex Jones Funeral Directors, 1 East Grinstead Road, Lingfield, RH7 6EP

I remember being driven home on many an occasions after a play day with Alex by David or Mr Netherclift as I knew him, in one of his much-loved Capri cars. He always had the coolest cars of the time and clearly loved driving. He was a bit of a devil too and would frequently leap out at us from behind doors or curtains laughing away at our screams. Rest in peace Mr Netherclift, Andy xx
