Shirley AnnBURKITTPassed away peacefully on Thursday 27th June 2024, aged 88 years.

Now reunited with her late husband Roy. She was a much loved mother to Garry, Tracey, Darren and a wonderful nan to all her grandchildren. Mum the day you passed away our hearts were broken in two, one side is filled with heartache, the other went with you. Good night, god bless, we love you lots and lots.

Funeral service to be held at Plympton St Mary's Church on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at 10:30 am, then committal at Efford Crematorium at 11:30 am.

Donations, if desired, can be made by retiring collection, in aid of Gables Farm Animal Shelter in memory of Shirley.

My Nanny was an incredible lady, she was my rock, my hero, my everything and it showed as I just always wanted to stay by her side.

I miss you so much, seeing your smile when you have noticed me. I love you so much and always.

Until we meet again with greeted open arms and hopefully birds trifle too.

Mum, you filled my heart with love and happiness. You were my world and I'm so lost without you.

Shirley … fondly known to us as Nanna Shirley 🤗 We moved in next door to you in Plympton ( my two children and I ) I think you knew I needed help and without hesitation you took us into your family fold. Your whole family were welcoming, warm & kind. A credit to you Nanna Shirley.
A wonderful, amazing lady with her twinkling eyes and beautiful smile.
