A devoted husband to Patricia, a much loved dad and grandad. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 21st January, All Saints Childwall Church for 1pm, followed by a committal at Allerton Cemetery for 2pm.

There are no words that can properly express my sadness. John, we shared a common past in the merchant navy, and enjoyed a brilliant relationship as Captain and Offshore Manager, often like two naughty school boys but always with empathy and care for our teams... forever remembered my friend.
My sincere condolences to Patricia and Lee, and all the family.
