I listened to your song You'll Never Walk Alone and remember when you bought that in the 1960s. You loved your record collection

That song made you cry in later life. So emotional. It was your funeral song to come in to.

I am looking at the painting that a great friend of mine -who supports your team-gave me for my special birthday. It is called 'At the end of a storm there's a golden sky."
(and the sweet silver song of the lark).
It all makes sense somehow, doesn't it?
Until we meet again.Love always , Dotxx

A year or so before you passed away I told you how precious you were as you nearly didn't make it into this world.

When mum was expecting you she was six weeks in hospital on bed rest and nearly lost you and you were born exactly a year to the day that mum and dad lost their first child and on our Uncle Tom's 50th birthday.

You were meant to be. Here for a reason. A Messenger on a mission. Sleep on soldier. Your work's done. You completed the circle and it was your time to be called home.
Until we meet again, Love Always, Dotxx

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Big Brother.

I put daffodils in the window this morning for you and fed the birds.

You are in Paradise now and I am doing my best to stay okay here.

I sent you this poem I wrote on what turned out to be your last birthday in 2021.

Wishes For You

In Spring
I wish you joy
As you hear the birds sing

In Summer
I wish you
Happy summer days
In the warm summer haze

In Autumn I wish you
The golden glow
Of the leaves that flow

In Winter
i wish you
The deep, deep peace
Of the glittering snow

Dorothy Ellen Connor

We will all be singin' n dancin' tomorrow -hopefully!
We have our engraved paving stones together, our stars together in the universe and two wee trees growing bravely together in rich Scottish soil.
Love always, Dotxx
