I didn’t know Hilary.
Was visiting Beverley Minster today with my wife and father-in-law whilst on holiday in Malton.
By Providence, her funeral service was taking place as we walked around the nave of that magnificent church.
We couldn’t help but hear some of the wonderful homily, which was full of Christian Hope and evocative of a long life, well lived.
Our sympathies to Hilary’s family.
May she rest in the peace of the Lord she served so well.
