Christopher David JonathanSMITHSadly passed away on 11th April 2026 aged 65.

Chris was a devoted husband to wife Rachel, a proud and caring father to daughter Natalie, and a much-loved grandfather to grandsons Caspar and Xander.

Known for his light hearted nature and warm personality, Chris had a gift for bringing people together. A natural presence, he was often at the centre of conversation, sharing stories, laughter and good natured banter that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He was a passionate and competitive golfer, always striving to better his game while enjoying the camaraderie both on and off the course.
For Chris, golf was not just a hobby, but a way to connect - with friends, with life, and with the simple pleasure of the outdoors.

Chris will be remembered for his kindness, his humour, and the ease with which he made others feel welcome and valued.
Though his passing leaves a profound loss, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered."

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Chris will benefit 'St Giles Hospice' and may be placed in the collection box at the service.
