Margaret "Jean"COSGROVECOSGROVE Margaret "Jean" (née Hornby) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on 29th June 2026, aged 87 years.
Deeply loved wife of Tom, much loved Mum to Alison, Gill and Jenny, and adored Grandmother of Lindsay, the late Conor, Siân and Tara. Jean dedicated her career to nursing and midwifery, where she touched countless lives with her care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Charnock Richard Crematorium, PR7 5JP, at 1.30pm on Friday 24th July.
Family flowers only, but donations gratefully received in memory of Jean's late grandson Conor will be for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and can be sent c/o
