Janet,Andrew and Stephen. We are so sorry for your loss. David was a wonderful man, we’ve only just found out about his passing or we would have been there to support you.

I’ve just heard the sad news of David’s death which has shocked me and reduced me to tears. He did so much to help so many over the years. My sincere condolences to all his family.

I had the great pleasure of working with David for many years in theatre 5. He was a down to earth lovely man, no delusions of grandeur just one of the team who valued everyone regardless of their role. Working with David was one of the best times in my career, we worked hard and laughed hard. The thing about David was he cared about every single one of his patients. After leaving theatres I next saw him in one of his clinics as a breast cancer patient and I am eternally grateful to him for everything he did for me. Such a tragedy x

RIP Mr Browell. You saved my life. I and my family will never forget you.

Will remember with affection every fireworks night (and many other times)
