I am part of the Webster family from Ilkeston, Edith & Arthur Webster my grandparents, they had Peter ( my Dad), Nancy & Bob. I can remember Geoffrey bring filmed at the brewery and watching him on TV, meeting him at Stan Brewster's funeral and him attending my Mum Anne's funeral in June 2017. We are wishing to represent the Webster family at the funeral tomorrow. Nicola & Colin Hunt née Webster

I started work with Geoff at Rolls-Royce in 1957 when we were both just 15 - we did a year together in the Apprentice Training School then went on to work in different areas of the factory and we lost contact. After 10 years or so Geoff left and had a successful career in aerospace and then the brewing industry. Our paths didn't cross again until he established the Bridge Brewing with Bruce - it was a very pleasant surprise to meet up with him again in The Bridge pub after all those years. What an ambassador he and the Bridge Brewery have been for Burton - he'll be sadly missed. Brian Webster.
