Quietly passed away at Barnsley Hospital aged 75 years

Kind and loving Daughter to Alfred and Mary Sly. Much loved Mother to Matthew and James. Devoted Grandmother to Ethan, George and Sam. Special Aunt to Louise and loving Sister to Terry, Rachel, Martin, Ivan, Nicky and Penny. Christine will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Christine's life will take place at Babworth Crematorium on Tuesday 5th May at 3:30pm to which everyone would be welcome to attend.

Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Christine can be made to BARK (Babworth Animal Rescue) via www.barkonline.co.uk or in the donation box provided as you leave chapel.

Christine's Niece, Lou Simpson, will also be taking part in the 'Clumber Park Memory Walk' on the 20th September 2026 in memory of Christine. Any donation will be gratefully received via Lou's Just Giving page towards Alzheimer's Society.

Traditional dress code is preferred, with an optional splash of pink if desired in memory of Christine.
