Funeral to take place at Mater Amabilis Catholic Church, Ambleside on the 22nd August at 12.00 pm. We invite you to make a donation to Missionaries of Charity, Seel Street, Liverpool in his honour in place of sending flowers.

I have only just heard about the passing of my dear dad’s best friend “Eddie” I did try to keep in touch with him after dad’s death almost three years ago. I tried to call him today but sadly discovered it was too late. Eddie was a great pal to my dad Gerry Coker and was loved by the Coker family. My last memory of him was meeting him for lunch in Formby. Ever the gentleman-he brought me flowers. It was an honour to know him and we won’t forget him. Rest in peace Eddie xx
