Nora ElsieCOURTENAYof Shepton Mallet, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on 22nd July 2024, aged 99 years. A much loved wife of the late Richard John 'Dick' Courtenay, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral Service to be held at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Shepton Mallet on Tuesday 6th August 2024 at 1.30pm followed by a committal at Mendip Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only.
Donations if desired, are invited for either Save the Children or Action for Children and can be made online or cheques made payable to the charity forwarded to Trotman Funeral Directors, Ashdene, Frome Road, Cranmore, Shepton Mallet, BA4 4QQ.

You were always so kind Mrs C. I am so grateful for those school holidays when I came to your house and we went out on family trips with the camper van. The children you fostered were so lucky. I always thought of our as a Saint and you made fantastic rice pudding with the skin left on too ! We will meet again, meanwhile fly high with the other angels sweetheart
