DeniseEVERETT (1938-2024)It is with great sadness we announce the death of Denise Everett who passed away peacefully on February 1st 2024 at her home in Wells. 

Denise 85 was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Gran, Great Gran and friend. 

Born on Dec 20th 1938 to Albert and Estella Moss Denise spent a happy childhood in Westfield with her sister Margaret. 

Denise trained as a nurse at the BRI before starting a family and moving to the village of Temple Cloud for over 20 years. 

Embarking on a different life once her children had grown up Denise resided in Shepton Mallet for over 30 years with husband Neville before moving to Wells in 2020. 

Denise and Neville loved to travel spending a lot of time in Canada with family before Denise’s diagnosis of Parkinson’s in early 2020. 

Always an avid reader Denise belonged to several book groups over the years and spent a lot of her free time with a book in her hand.

Denise loved to spend time with family and friends and most recently enjoyed being a Great Gran!

Denise will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A funeral for Denise will be held on February 23rd 2024 at 3.30pm at Mendip Crematorium.

Donations will be accepted for Parkinson’s UK instead of flowers.

Following the funeral service, there will be refreshments and a reception to be held at the Mendip Golf Club all family and friends welcome.
