MavisAGBEKO(née French) (Fenham) Passed away peacefully at home on 16th November 2023.

Wife of Herbert, loving Mam to Lucy and Luke, mother in law of Ellen, Gran to Sadie, sister of Edna, Meg, Tom and the late Norman.

Funeral service will be held at St. James' Church, Benwell on Tuesday 5th December at 12pm, followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium at 1.30pm. A wake will be held at Benwell Hill Cricket Club.

Family flowers only please. Donations can be made to Cancer Research UK. John Bardgett & Sons Funeral Directors

Mavis was a lovely lady, my daughter was in Lucys class at school, which is how I knew her - from chatting at the school gate. I haven't seen her for years, but remember her very fondly. RIP Mavis
