JosephineBARTON (ANITA)Of Long Sutton, passed away peacefully in hospital on the 16th December 2020, aged 83 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Edwin John Barton (Dick), loving friend to Bernard Tarr and wonderful mum to Alannah Upton. She was amazingly kind and caring to all who knew her and actively helped with the Mothers Union and Women's Institute throughout her life. Private family funeral due to current COVID-19 restrictions. Donations, if desired, may be made via the box below or cheques made payable to Children's Hospice South West, may be sent to; Trotman Funeral Directors, Ashdene, Cranmore, Shepton Mallet BA4 4QQ. Caryl and I knew Anita and Dick Barton when they lived in Hove. In fact my father worked in Telephone House Brighton where Dick was the Secretary to the Telephone Manager before retirement. We remained in contact with them for all those years. A lovely couple. Dave and Caryl (Worthing)
