ChristinaBATE(Teams) (nee Shiel) Peacefully on Wednesday 26th June 2024, after a short illness aged 96 years Chrissie, beloved wife of the late Arthur, treasured Mam of Bernadette, Gerard and Paul, Mother in law of Dave, Maureen and Maureen, devoted Grandma of Chris, Linzi, Paul, Danny and their partners Gemma, Luke, Hayleigh and Sacha. Special Great Grandma to Eliza, Darcey, Oriana and Emily.

Would family and friends please meet for Funeral Service on Friday 19th July at St Phillips Neri Church Dunston for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, Cremation to follow at 11:15am Saltwell Crematorium.

Flowers welcomed, donations if desired to Teams and Bensham day club.

All welcome afterwards to the Teams Club Social club.

Chrissie, you were always there for me after my own lovely parents passed away 30 years ago,and for that I will be eternally grateful.You were the loveliest mam in law inside and out,and will miss Sunday night get togethers at your house,where we laughed from going in to coming out.RIP Chrissie,and enjoy eternal happiness now with Arthur.xxxxxx Will miss you very muchxxxxx Maureen xxxx

Chrissie, you were always there for me, before and after my lovely parents passed away 30 years ago, and for that I will be forever eternally grateful.
