Maureen EdithBILLINGHAM(née Sanders) Maureen Billingham, known to many as Mo, passed away peacefully at Highwell House Nursing Home Bromyard on Sunday 23rd August 2026, aged 82. Mo was a much-loved Mum and Nonna, and beloved wife of Robin. Kind and gentle in nature she approached life with optimism and good grace. Mo taught at Picklenash Junior School, Newent and then at Steam Mills Primary School, Cinderford for many years. With humility and fairness, she became a well-respected infant school teacher, supporting many children through their first years in education. A dear person, finding happiness in the company of others until the end, Mo will be hugely missed.

The Memorial Service will take place at St Peter's Church, Clifford's Mesne, GL18 1JL on Thursday 1st October at 12.30pm. All family and friends (old and recent) are welcome.

Family flowers only. Please donate to a cause that you feel passionate about in her memory or, join the family by donating to Alzheimer's Research UK - please use the following link to donate in memory of Mo.
