A gentle giant, that’s how he seemed to me as a child at Marshalls Park school. He gave us space in his music room to do what we wanted, to create music and love it, and was always there to help and teach when we wanted. The best of teachers and I shall never forget him.

Many people would say what a 'kind' and 'gentle' man Michael was. I would definitely agree.
I have lovely memories of Michael both from London and in Somerset. One such memory was when visiting Michael with Anna and staying overnight. Michael and Anna would be talking into the early hours about life in general and I would be chipping in here and there before falling asleep! I felt comfortable and thought what a wonderful relationship they had. Michael was a great listener with insight and had time for people.
We remember a kind, thoughtful gentleman who will be missed by many people.
