John AlfredBRIGHTSuddenly but peacefully whilst in hospital on December 21st, John aged 96 years.

Dearly loved husband of Elsie, much loved dad of Paul, Lynn, Anne and Malcolm, dear father-in-law of Barbara and Jacky. Also a cherished grandad, great grandad, loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

A celebration of John's life will take place on Friday 12th January at 2pm in Maplewood Chapel, Stockton Crematorium. Friends please meet at Maplewood Chapel and afterwards at Eaglescliffe Golf Club.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Alzheimer's Society. A collection plate will be available outside the chapel.

Grandad, you really were the best. I have far too many memories to share but the one thing I will remember the most is how happy you always were to have your family around you. You loved to make your grandchildren and great children happy and for that you will be missed greatly. Forever in our hearts grandad.

A lovely Grandad who had many talents, especially woodworking. I'll never forget the smell of wood and his pipe smoke from the workshop. He taught me many things growing up and I'll be forever grateful. Love you Grandad xxx
