Ian BarryFRANKLINOf Ilchester and owner of Ian Franklin's Hair Studio, 88A High Street, Glastonbury. Passed away on 20th February 2023, aged 66 years. A much loved father of Louisa, Abi and Kieran will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Mendip Crematorium on Friday 17th March at 2.30pm. Donations if desired for Macmillan Cancer Support may may be made online via this notice in the donation box below or forwarded to Forsey and Son Funeral Directors, Willowfields, Lowerside Lane, Glastonbury BA6 9GY.

Although we were not related by blood, Ian was one of my favourite Franklins! The one I related to the most, especially when I was younger I appreciated Ian’s humour, he was a good man.
i’m so glad I got an opportunity to speak to Ian when I popped into the salon in Glastonbury last year. RIP

Ian, you looked after my hair for over 40 years, the last time as recently as last June; I always enjoyed my Saturday morning visits to the salon and miss the easy conversation that comes from such a long association. RIP Ian x

You went to Ian for a really good hair cut and left having put the world to rights. He was always proud of his family and interested in yours.
He’s already missed and the top of the High Street looks very strange without his presence.
