FredHASLAMFred Haslam aged 87, departed on 4th July at Bolton Hospice. Beloved Husband of Jean, Loving Father and Grandfather. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place on Wednesday 29th July 2020 at Howe Bridge Crematorium at 2pm. Family flowers only but donations can be made to Bolton Hospice. All enquiries to Peter at Bromley's Funeral Services on Tonge Moor Road, Tel: 01204 302000.

Fred was my boss and everybody who worked for him said the same thing: "He gave me a chance". I was completely unproven but Fred saw something in me, as he did with a great many others at Matthew Boulton College. He taught me so much and I mourn his passing. I was so very sorry that I couldn't attend his funeral (due to Covid restrictions). Goodbye Fred, my dear friend.
