My sincere condolences to Chris’s Family on your sad loss. I have many fond memories of us both as childhood friends playing with our rugby ball for hours, kicking to each other, ‘gaining ground’. Also spending many happy times walking the Irwell Valley during our school holidays. Great times swing on a rope across the valley’s streams.
Great to see such a happy photo of Chris after so many years. His smile is just the same. God rest his soul. Austin

Chris was my first friend when I moved to Conway Avenue on my 7th Birthday. We had many fun days , playing kicking game of gaining ground on the back field. Other great days walking the Irwell Valley and playing in the woods. So sorry to hear via WhatsApp if his passing. Great to see his happy smile and know the happiness he brought to many who knew him. My sincere condolences to his Family. RIP Chris. Austin Hargreaves

I remember taking Uncle Mike’s dog Lucy out for walks with Chris. They would go for regular walks in the woods and have great times together. Also we had happy times on Christmas Day, sharing a turkey dinner and some great conversation.

I remember Chris as the handsome young man that he was when I first knew him. Life was sadly not very kind to you Chris. R.I.P.
